1983 Citroen 2CV,   a 2CV Charleston in showroom new condition.  This car was built by some of the best 2CV specialists to be found anywhere.  The new rolling chassis was prepared by Burton Car Co. in the Netherlands, the body shell was built by Garage Sander Aalderink, also in the Netherlands.  The sole purpose was to built a 2CV to the highest standards of the art, regardless of the cost.  The platform starts with a factory new chassis, onto which are installed new suspension cylinders, shock absorbers, 5 new wheel rims and tires, all new brakes, brake lines, fuel tank, fuel sending unit, fuel lines, rebuilt steering rack, ball joints, king pins, wheel arms, all new bearings and bushings, drive shafts and CV joint boots, rebuilt engine and transmission, powder coated engine sheet metal, a 123Electronic ignition and a stainless steel exhaust system.  The body shell is newly constructed from NOS parts to exact Citroen Factory specifications using a full body jig, and exact replication of every spot weld. 1976 Citroen 2CV6 . It powered the 602 cc. / 32 hp. air cooled two cylinder engine coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission with shift from the dash board and front wheel drive. The car can comfortably travel at highway speeds. Pearl white and burgundy paint is very nice. The black vinyl interior is also very good and we area installing a new black convertible top. No touch up needed. Interior panels and painted areas original. Runs strong. Shifts easy and brakes fine. Michelin tires are very good. These Citroen's are super fun to drive. (This car is titled as a 1960 as were many of these cars are that were imported after 1975 it has a 100% clear title.)

1970 Citroen 2CV Club,  A beautiful Citroen 2CV6 Club, registered as a 1970, much is newer. Has the larger 602 cc engine and front disc brakes. Not a museum piece, but a great looking and driving 2CV. Has the slightly more upscale Club trim and may have been for the German market (head restraints, 3 point belts in front, lap belts rear). Imported from the Netherlands in 2006 (still has old style Dutch blue license plates), this has been a wonderful car for me for the past eight years and 20k kilometers. It has the 1-2-3 electronic ignition and a higher output coil, the rest is stock. Well maintained (oil changes, chassis lubrication done regularly), things I have had done include major suspension work by Dave Burnham, rebuilt carb by Chris Dubuque, replaced the top, some panels repainted but not the entire car, tires are good Michelin 135 R15 ZX, new grille, many small miscellaneous parts. It drives and rides wonderfully, cruise the plains at 70. I have kept it garaged and stored indoors in the winter with no exposure to salt. The anti-road rage car, people smile, slow down, let you in, it's great fun. It has been a frequent participant in an annual Bastille Day "race", always a crowd pleaser. Simple to repair, parts are amazingly easy thanks to French Parts Service and some other Citroen suppliers. 

1967 Citroen 2CV Azam Export,  We are pleased to offer this 1967 Citroen 2CV Azam Export. This is an original car, original engine and transmission.

The last owner had the car stored for the last 20 odd years, using on the odd occassion locally on the Central Coast of California. This is a California car, it has the bigger front headlights.

All body panels are original, no signs of rust, original floors, very straight rare Citroen. We believe that this car was only produced for a few months, making it one of the rarest 2CV's that was ever produced.

This Citroen has the side markers, rectangular indicators, removable picnic benchs, V shaped steering wheel. The previous owner added chrome hubcaps.

We have been driving this Citroen local and, it drives just fine. We had it up to 80km today, all 4 gears shift fine, clutch is good, engine sounds just fine. This Citroen is currently registered as a California car.

1985 Citroen 2CV,  This particular 1985 Citroen 2CV Special is a very interesting and unusual version of our favorite car.  The car is largely original and unrestored, but it has received some tweaks that sets it apart from the rest.  It was owned for many years by a dedicated 2CV enthusiast who maintained it to perfection, and never drove it in the winter.  Hence it is almost entirely rust free.  All the same, the chassis was replaced a few years ago.  About one year ago the car was traded in to Burton Car Co. of the Netherlands.  At my request they removed the tired original engine and installed a newly rebuilt 652 cc Visa engine, and a matching newly rebuilt high ratio gearbox.  The Visa engine puts out 20% more horse power and 25% more torque than the stock 602 cc 2CV unit, so a tall gearbox makes a lot of sense.  Lower rpm's and good gas mileage.  And the car will still climb hills far better than a normal 2CV.  So this would be a great car for some one who lives in the mountains!  As part of the work, the car received a major service, and anything not up to our high standards was repaired or replaced.  New are the convertible top, the seat upholstery, spark plugs and cables, a 123 Electronic ignition, solid state voltage regulator, the coil, the starter motor, the clutch assembly, all heater hoses, rebuilt brake calipers, rebuilt carburetor, new fuel pump, lines and filter,  right rear fender and trim, rear bumper, CV joint boots, steering track arm boots, under-hood sound insulation, carpets and so much more!  And let us not forget the newly rebuilt engine and transmission.  The original service records going back many years come with the car, as does a large map of original dealer documentation.  Please note that the 652 cc Visa engine looks almost identical on the outside as does the stock 602 cc 2CV engine.  Internal differences are large though, it is much stronger and longer lived than the stock 2CV unit, an engine that is famous for durability in it's own right.  This engine / transmission combination should easily last 150'000 miles with proper care and maintenance.   $18'500-

'two steam horses'), "two tax horsepower") is a front-engine, front wheel drive, air-cooled economy car introduced at the 1948 Paris Mondial de l'Automobile and manufactured by Citron for model years 1948-1990 in a single four-door body style. This Conceived by Citron Vice-President Paul Boulanger to help motorize the large number of farmers still using horses and carts in 1930s France, the 2CV is noted for its minimalist combination of innovative engineering and utilitarian, straightforward metal bodywork — initially corrugated for added strength without added weight. The 2CV featured a low purchase cost; simplicity of overall maintenance; an easily serviced air-cooled engine (originally offering 9hp); low fuel consumption; and an extremely long travel suspension offering a soft ride, light off-road capability, high ground clearance and height adjustability via lengthening/shortening of tie rods. Often called "an umbrella on wheels] the bodywork featured a distinctive and prominent full-width, canvas, roll-back sunroof, which accommodated oversized loads and until 1955 reached almost to the car's rear bumper, covering its trunk. For Sale, a very rare 1976 Citroen AKS (often called AK400, the 400 referring to the 400 kg cargo capacity) from the sunny south of Spain.  The car was built by the Citroen factory in Viga, Spain.  This is a matching numbers car, engine, transmission, chassis and body are all original.  The car was lovingly restored by a knowkedgeable (Dutch) 2CV expert.  Having spent it's entire life in the arid south of Spain, there was little rust to worry about.  She has the gutsy AK2 motor (602 cc) and the transmission with over sized brakes.  The car is in truly excellent condition.  Please note the highly unusual rear bench seat; a factory original, and three point seatbelts.  Rare in a Truckette!  Please study the pictures, and contact me for any additional information you might require.

For sale, this stunningly beautiful 1984 Citroen 2CV Charleston in Jaune Helios (AC336 GDA) over Noir (AC200 GYA/EXY)).  Careful body off frame restoration, starting with a new galvanized chassis and an excellent rust free original body.  New paint inside and out of course.  New fenders, bumpers, wheel rims and tires, hubcaps, exhaust and brakes.  New cabin upholstery, seat upholstery, convertible roof, engine compartment insulation, new headlights, windshield and windshield gasket.  Three point retractable seat belts.  The transmission is not new or rebuilt, but has been fully serviced and is in perfect running condtion. The engine is a brand new "Burton" remanufactured unit.  This is a "late model" 2CV.  As such it has the bigger 602cc engine, a double barrel carburetor, inboard disc brakes on the front, tube shocks, a 12 volt system with alternator and electronic voltage regulator and a "123" electronic ignition system. This is an excellent and reliable driver, expect fuel economy in the high 30's or low 40's.  Other than test miles the car has not been driven since the completion of the restoration.  Everything works as it should.   Please notice, the engine will need braking in, it is all new inside.  These cars keep up very nicely with modern trafic, and you can drive them at 100km/hr on the Interstate all day long.  This is a very nice 2CV indeed!   (Please see erikdewidt.com for more pictures.)

This 1987 Citroen 2CV Club in Blanc Meije (AC 088), VIN VF7AZKA00KA274003 has received a high quality ground-up restoration by Burton Car Company of the Netherlands.  She received a new chassis and a thorough body and mechanical restoration.  Some of the highlights are: new paint over rust free original sheet metal, four new fenders, bumpers, new roof, wheel rims and tires, battery, a major engine service and tune up, a new oil breather / filler assembly, a 123 Electronic ignition, a rebuilt carburettor rejetted for today's gasoline.  The engine and transmission are not new or rebuilt, but have been fully serviced and are in fine running order.  This is an exceptional 2CV!  These late model 2CVs keep up very nicely with modern traffic in the city, and have a cruising speed of 65 mph on the highway. Expect gas mileage in the high thirties.  They are extremely reliable, parts are readily available, and they are easy to work on.
